Excellent pie! I dare say it’s the best pie I have ever had. I had the chicken mushroom pie, and the pie was the right amount of crusty and doughy. What I particularly liked was how traditionally British this place was. Lots of locals were dining here, which gave me the feeling I was definitely at the right place. For £6.10, it’s hard to beat Goddard’s pie and mash!
First visit here can't believe what I have missed the last 10 years! 😱 Great place, quite busy managed to get a seat downstairs but there is more space upstairs. Toilets were upstairs. Great pie/mash & gravy. Will be back soon. 🥧🍽
The original fast food. great value

Visited on 12 June 2023. 5 stars for the prices, friendly staff and good quality food. 4 stars for the traditional taste which, as a non-Londoner, I had a bit of trouble appreciating it (especially the peas). Overall a very pleasant visit. Please visit to have a taste of traditional pies and mash. Recommended!
Best place in London!! Great food and heartwarming hospitality! You can feel the real local cuisine and atmosphere A must place for every tourist (but not a tourist trap)

Lovely old building. Staff are brilliant. Unfortunately, I don't know the lady's name. But she was lovely and great on her recommendations. Was really surprised at the prices. It's really, really good. And the food was lovely
Such a charming place. Homely and warm atmosphere, staff that makes you feel like family Tons of traditional pies with mash on the menu and more. You are not going to leave hungry. I had a Vegetarian option they have (they have 2 vegetarian pies!) With liqueur sauce and gravy. It was great. The rhuburb crumble with custard was amazing. Highly recommended
This is a great stop for lunch while in Greenwich. The pies are good (but not great: consider using the table vinegar to add more flavour). The service is fantastic. The portions are generous. Good value.

Delicious, best pie mash around good old London
Very nice and traditional pie, mash and liquor enjoyed
I saw somebody on YouTube in their vlog, and this pub was recommended as a good place where you can have not only a beer, of course, but the traditional beef pie with mash. They have like 4 or 5 different kind of pie with mash and also jellied eel .I tried the steak and kidney pie with mash and gravy. I was not disappointed cos it was delicious. The food is cheap and the service is quick. They have lots of sittings upstairs, too.
