Amazing Pie and mash shop, the quality of the food is outstanding! And the staff are always friendly and very helpful. But be warned, this place gets very busy. It such good value for the money. Me and my wife love the place ❤️
Good old fashioned pie and mash at good old fashioned prices. Staff really nice. What’s not too like! Good cuppa Rosie Lee as well.
What a find right in the heart of where you may expect to get ripped off. Pie and mash and a cup of tea for a quick lunch at a very low price. Lovely! Good place, good food, good people. Give it a go, at the price you have nothing to lose and I'm sure you will love it.... Unless you don't like pies and mash!

Visited on 12 June 2023. 5 stars for the prices, friendly staff and good quality food. 4 stars for the traditional taste which, as a non-Londoner, I had a bit of trouble appreciating it (especially the peas). Overall a very pleasant visit. Please visit to have a taste of traditional pies and mash. Recommended!
Great place! Very authentic but also amazing tasting food. Lady that served us was lovely, friendly and very helpful considering it was quite busy. Lamb and rosemary pie was knockout! And we were recommended to have the blackcurrant and apple crumble which was probably the best crumble I've ever had! Will definitely be back!
You can't beat the the price/quality....the best ratio in all of London, and on top the pie is great.

Really good pie and mash for such a reasonable price. The service is very quick and plenty of space to sit and eat. The apple crumble is also really nice.
What a wonderful gem of traditional London eating fare. Pies, mash, graveyard and squishy peas!

Not a massive fan of pie and mash but this was delicious
We ordered the Steak and Ale Pie and Chicken and Mushroom Pie with Mash and Gravy plus the Apple Crumble with Custard. The ambience, service, prices, seating and taste are a legitimate pub experience. I am very happy we passed through this place and I am glad we gave it a try. It was a really wonderful meal. So in here, you’ll have to queue, order and then choose a seat after. There are plenty of seats on the other side of the restaurant and upstairs. We paid less than £20 for 2 meals, 2 drinks and 1 dessert. The portions are massive. Also, they take card payments.
Always good in here and I'm from the East end never thought I go south for pie n mash
